Drugs Awareness Talk for Year 10

Last week, PACE visited the school to deliver a thought-provoking drugs education workshop for the Year 10 students. The session explored the various reasons why individuals might turn to drugs and the potential consequences that come with drug use. During the workshop, two individuals who had experienced the devastating effects of drug addiction shared their personal stories. They discussed how they first became involved with drugs and the choices they made while under their influence. Students were deeply engaged and had the opportunity to ask questions at the end of the talk.

The purpose of the session was to encourage the pupils to make informed, healthy choices in the future and steer clear of the dangers highlighted during the discussion.  Thanks go to Mrs Manley for organising such an important workshop for the girls.
