As part of the new Community, Work, Placements (CWP) programme for the TH Sixth Form, the students participated in the second week of their training for upcoming work experience. This initiative provides students with invaluable long-term work experience opportunities. Debbie Fothergill, founder of Sphere of Influence, led an engaging and insightful workshop this week, focusing on perspective-taking, empathy, and effective listening skills, equipping the pupils with the necessary tools to enter the world of work.
Over the coming weeks, students will continue to develop valuable skills to prepare for their upcoming placements, and take place every Wednesday afternoon. Thanks go to Debbie Fothergill for her very useful input and to Govina Basra for organising.
