Congratulations to the TH tennis teams who were all successful in their respective group matches last week. The year 7 & 8 team and the year 9 & 10 team went to Bath University on Thursday for Regional Schools Tennis Finals; both team had two matches to play against other county winners.
The year 9&10 team of Iraja, Sophia, Emily, Keira and Morgan won their morning match 6-0 against Prior Park College and then played Kings School, Winchester in the afternoon winning 5-1. Also, the year 7&8 team of Sophie, Poppy, Elizabeth, Lara and Scarlett won their morning match 5-1 against West Buckland School and won their afternoon match 5-1 against Ralph Allen School.
This means both teams have qualified for National Finals taking place in Bolton on the weekend of November 30th. The girls all played a really high level of tennis and represented the school well. Congratulations to all of the girls, and thanks to the West Hants Tennis school and Mrs Camp for accompanying and supporting the teams.
