This January as part of the Outdoor Learning curriculum, Upper 4 students have visited the school’s original namesake just around the corner: Talbot Heath Nature Reserve.
As well as a brisk walk in the fresh winter air, students learned about and discussed the ecology, wildlife and conservation practices used on the precious heathland habitats we have in Dorset. This was topped off with a quick bit of sketching for good measure. Thanks go to Hannah Adams and Craig Wilson for accompanying the walks.
