In a world dominated by AI and digital technology, it’s refreshing to see examples of handcrafted work. Creativity, craftsmanship, and fine motor skills have been on full display in the Design room at TH recently.
The first rotation of Key Stage 3 pupils have just completed their design and make projects, producing excellent results. Students utilised a range of manufacturing techniques, including hand tools, machinery, and even some CAD [Computer-aided design software] and CAM [Computer-aided manufacturing software] for good measure.
