Talbot Heath Sixth Form in Bournemouth, Dorset has a long record of academic excellence and is a powerful launchpad to a successful future. Our sixth Form students gain places at the most prestigious universities in the country as a result of their impressive A Level grades.
We offer excellent Sixth Form teaching in a dynamic and nurturing environment, which includes our newly completed Hub which has a ‘Uni’ feel with state of the art learning and breakout facilities. We want each of our students to be the best that they can be and support them every step of the way throughout their studies, whilst actively encouraging them to ‘have a voice ‘and to show initiative.
Pupils benefit from being taught by highly qualified and experienced specialist teachers, whilst receiving an outstanding level of pastoral care. Students are divided into small tutor groups and are guided and supported throughout their studies, receiving expert advice and support on potential university courses and the UCAS application process. Our 6th Formers leave driven and knowledgeable, going on to enjoy successful and rewarding careers.

In Upper sixth form, pupils have the opportunity to join the Head Girl and Prefect Team, taking on significantly more responsibility by supporting staff in their duties, individual academic departments and the younger pupils in the school.
