Congratulations to the Under 15 netball team who finished fourth overall in the Netball county finals. They played at Canford in an exciting afternoon of netball at the County finals recently. In the group stages TH won all of their matches convincingly decisively winning the group stage. The results were as follows:
Beat Canford 9 – 2
Beat Woodroffe 11 – 1
Beat Corfe Hills 10 – 4
Beat Glenmoor 12 – 5
Beat Bryanston 18 – 5
Earlier, in the semi-final, the team had faced BSG which was an end to end high intensity game finishing at full time 8 – 8. The team had to play an extra 2 minutes each way and sadly lost to BSG 11 – 8. Following this, the TH team played Parkstone Grammar for 3rd and 4th place but lost the game 8 – 14. It was a tough match after such a close semi final.
The team played so well all afternoon and the school community are proud of their achievements: the team finished 4th in Dorset overall. Well done to all of the players!
