The new school parliament met for the second time this year to discuss issues at the heart of student life at TH.
The day started with a tour of the senior school kitchen [juniors had had their tour the previous week]. Holroyd Howe were asked questions by the students about the preparation of food and cleaning, and were impressed with the strict adherence to food safety and hygiene rules. Students have also had the opportunity recently to review the proposed menus for the summer term and to make suggestions and changes, for example Holroyd Howe will be serving Katsu Curry at the students’ request.
During their lunch time meeting, pupils gave feedback to Mrs Webb who is developing the rewards system in the school and Mr Sinclair-Smith who is reviewing students’ leadership opportunities and student responsibility. Thanks go to the kitchen and teaching staff for their input during the session.
