A huge thank you to Head of Sport, Lou Lindon, for organising and hosting another successful ‘This Girl Can’ event this week at TH. Year 4 girls from TH and the locality were invited to participate in the This Girl Can event where pupils trialled different sports – with the main aim of having fun and trying something new. Sports included cricket, tag games, multi sports and cheerleading, as well as rounders. The rounders activities were expertly led by Lower 5 GCSE students from Talbot Heath who were fantastic sports leaders and role models.
Thank you to everyone who gave up their time to run activities and to the site team for setting up the field. Mrs Lindon said it was a great success and she is, ‘Very proud of the Talbot Heath Sports leaders and the way they represented the school.’
