Bournemouth Yoga provides over 16 years of teaching experience. Classes are suitable for all levels and beginners are welcome. Restorative yoga to relax your body and mind. Come and relax and recharge after the stressful times we’ve all been through.  Classes at Talbot Heath are on Wednesdays at 7pm in the Jubilee Hall.

TKGymnastics are proud to offer children’s gymnastics classes at Talbot Heath School, Bournemouth. Classes are for girls and boys from preschool (with parent) to age 16, all held in the Sports Hall. We are a British Gymnastics registered club with coaching by former USSR national gymnasts.

Individuality Swimming teach a broad range of lessons across 14 different venues in the BH post code area. Currently at Talbot Heath on Saturday 10-4pm and Sunday mornings. Your swimming journey starts with the aqua natal classes, moving to parent and baby classes from 6 weeks old, progressing to independent non-swimmer classes all the way up to pre club level and fitness classes. Adult classes range from beginners to advanced swimmers. Individuality Swimming are a Swim England and STA Swim Star registered swim school, they are also an accredited STA training centre training people to become swimming teachers. Poole Netball Club, accredited with Silver CAPS clubmark status, was established in 1998 and is represented in local junior and senior leagues, as well as the Netball South West Regional League and for our elite teams, the England National Championships.

Our Juniors are the most successful in the County, with countless league wins, the only club to have 3 teams represented in the Junior Regional League and last season our U14’s took the bronze medal to finish 3rd in England. In addition to this, Poole NC have developed and progressed individual players through the England Pathway.

Our Home Venue, Talbot Heath is host to our home fixtures and our weekly training sessions, which start at U9’s through to senior level. Poole NC welcomes all players, but please be sure to call in advance to check the availability in the relevant age section. Training sessions are run on a Monday or Thursday depending on school year.

Since its inauguration in 1931, Poole Swimming Club has been a club with a rich tradition of developing people in the local community. The club not only aims to help each swimmer achieve individual goals but also fosters and develops the team ethic.

We have a long association with Talbot Heath School and are keen to hear from parents (present and past) and older pupils of the school, who would like to join us for social tennis on Saturday afternoons, on the courts at Rothesay Road.

Currently we do not offer any coaching but play is of a reasonable standard and, therefore, may not suit those just starting to play.

Hopefully in the future we may be able to offer coaching for beginners.

Swish of the Curtain Theatre School hold Musical Theatre sessions at Talbot Heath School, Saturday mornings.

Established in 1991, Swish brings with it a wealth of experience in the Performing Arts at local, national and even international level. Coupled with the amazing new purpose built complex at Talbot Heath, children from as young as age 3 will be able to ‘Take the Stage’ on Saturday mornings during term time.

Swish prides itself on nurturing individuality at each and every stage of the journey and their new partnership in Talbot Woods will be no exception in helping to deliver the complete creative adventure.
