Talbot Heath School is seeking a passionate and energetic Swimming Coach to support our expanding swimming programme. This role is ideal for an aspiring coach eager to develop their skills in a supportive and ambitious environment, working alongside an international coach and gaining high-level experience.

With a strong sporting tradition, Talbot Heath encourages swimmers to push boundaries and support one another. We are committed to developing athletes who excel both in the pool and in life.

The ideal candidate will hold Swim England Level 2 Coach Qualification (or equivalent), have experience coaching young swimmers, and bring enthusiasm, strong communication skills, and a passion for sports education.

Initially part-time, the role is expected to grow into a full-time position, with potential on-site accommodation available for relocation support.

• Strong Communicator and Team Player – Able to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents while fostering a supportive training environment.
• Knowledgeable and Safety-Conscious – Holds an ASA Level 2 Swimming Teacher Qualification (or equivalent) and ensures all sessions follow safeguarding and safety standards.
• Committed and Flexible – Willing to adapt to a growing programme, with the potential for a full-time role and possible relocation support.

Position:     Permanent, term-time only, working 24 hours a week,

Coaching hours:  Monday, Wednesday and Friday 7.00 – 9.00 am and 4.00 – 6.00 pm, Tuesday and Thursday 7.00 – 9.00 am.

Weekly Squad and Coaches Meeting: Monday 1.00 – 3.30 pm. Admin/Competition Attendance at Weekends/Staff Training/Planning accrued on a weekly basis: 6.5 hours

Salary:       £24,000 (£19.23 per hour)

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Minibus Driver to join our team at Talbot Heath School. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting pupils to and from school along a designated route, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the journey. This role requires strict adherence to the School’s Transport Policy, including maintaining vehicle logs, conducting pre-journey safety checks, and ensuring all passengers wear seatbelts.

Reporting to the Transport Manager, the post holder will be expected to identify and report any vehicle maintenance concerns promptly. The ideal candidate will hold a full, clean driving licence (issued before 1.1.97, including D1 provision), have a minimum of two years of driving experience, and be aged 25 or over for insurance purposes. Upholding the school’s ethos of “Honour before Honours,” the driver will play a vital role in maintaining a safe, professional, and welcoming environment for pupils, staff, and visitors.

The successful candidate will be:

• Be a responsible and safety-conscious driver with a strong awareness of road regulations and school transport policies.
• Demonstrate excellent time management skills to ensure punctual and reliable transportation of pupils.
• Possess a friendly and professional demeanour, fostering a positive and reassuring environment for students.
• Have strong communication skills to effectively liaise with the Transport Manager, staff, and parents when necessary.
• Show a proactive approach to vehicle maintenance and safety checks, promptly reporting any issues.

Salary:      £14,348.04 (£22,971 FTE).
