The Music Department at Talbot Heath School is seeking an inspirational and enthusiastic part-time Singing Teacher to provide high-quality individual music tuition for students across all key stages. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering engaging singing lessons to students of all ages and abilities, guiding them through ABRSM, Trinity, RSL, Trinity Rock ‘n’ Pop, and MTB music exams, and supporting their participation in school performances, concerts, and assessments. Excellent keyboard skills are highly desirable to accompany students during lessons, exams, and performances. Above all, we are looking for someone who can foster a passion for singing in a supportive, inspiring, and nurturing learning environment.

The successful candidate will be:

  • A passionate and inspiring educator who fosters a love for singing and nurtures students’ confidence in a supportive and engaging learning environment.
  • A highly skilled vocal teacher with experience preparing students for ABRSM, Trinity, RSL, Trinity Rock ‘n’ Pop, and MTB music exams, as well as school performances and concerts.
  • A proficient pianist with excellent keyboard skills, capable of accompanying students in lessons, exams, and performances.
  • A collaborative and dedicated professional who embraces Talbot Heath’s ethos of intellectual curiosity, creativity, and personal growth
  • An effective communicator who builds strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, ensuring a positive and enriching musical education experience.
