Delicious Fundraising in U5 Cookbook

Well done to Upper 5 pupil, Rebecca A-S, who has produced her very own cookery book as a way to raise funds for the expedition to Costa Rica with Camps International, in summer 2025. The 15-year-old has produced a cookbook entitled ‘Rebecca’s Top Chefs’ Favourite Recipe Book’ which is currently on sale, and includes a number of chefs’ contributions who generously shared their favourite recipes. After contacting a range of chefs over the past two months, including previous Masterchef’ and ‘Bake-off’ contestants, Rebecca has contributions from Steve James, Maggie Richardson, James Hillery, as well as Talbot Heath’s own food technology expert, Mrs Moran! The cookbook includes a wide range of recipes from Rebecca’s own Biscoff blondie recipe to a delicious coronation chicken quiche.

She has created this book because of her own passion for cooking as well as her interest in selling it to fundraise for her Costa Rica Expedition. The sales from the cookbook will provide valuable funds to enable Rebecca to work on various projects such as building schools to help the local children, installing clean water supplies and working on the conservation of the local rainforests.

You can order your copy here. The book costs £10 and an extra £2.50 for delivery. However, ‘Click and Collect’ option is available through school, to collect at TH with no delivery costs (just select ‘store pick up‘ for this option on the above link).

Thank you to everyone who has already ordered a copy of the book, and congratulations to Rebecca for her initiative and creativity with fundraising.
