Congratulations to all of the pupils who competed in the Milton Abbey cross-country event last week. The teams were comprised of runners from Year 6, 7 and 8, with the Year 6 winning the team event, and individual placings awarded to Nyah H 1st place; Jemima B 2nd; Sophie D 3rd and Polly W 5th. In the Year 7 race, Polina K was placed 1st individually. A fantastic achievement for each of the pupils!
Further congratulations go to the four girls [from U4, L5 and Sixth Form] who have been selected to go to the National Cross-Country Championships in West Sussex on 15 March. They are: Jemima C in the Junior girls, Immy T in the Intermediate girls and Nancy T and E Wells in the Senior girls’ race. This follows their qualification races earlier this year, at the Dorset Championships and representing Dorset in the South-West Championships in Newquay, Cornwall.
