GCSE Success at TH 2024

Congratulations to the girls in the 2024 GCSE cohort who have excelled with their results this year. We look forward to welcoming many girls back to our sixth form where we have new courses and opportunities on offer this September, such as A level Sociology and the Level 3 Sports Leaders course.

GCSE results were excellent in many areas and overall the proportion of grades 7 to 9 have increased by 6% on last year; an impressive increase. 13% of grades were grade 9 and there were some exceptional individual performances with five students achieving 6 or more grade 9s – the very top grade possible. In Computer Science, Music and Chinese all students achieved a grade 7 or above and in History nearly 80% of students achieved a grade 7 or above.

Headteacher, Tracy Harris, acknowledged how many students have worked extremely hard alongside national and international commitments, such as the tennis and swimming academies, as well as other elite sports and activities. She said: ‘All girls should be very proud of what they have achieved as they look forward to the next stage of their education journey. Adding, ‘These results would not be possible without the support of our parents and carers, as well as our skilled and dedicated staff and governors, and I would like to take this opportunity to thank them for their continued support.’
