The Sixth Form were invited to the launch of THe Bridge Programme this week, when they were introduced to the enrichment programme on offer as a way develop relevant work and life skills that will prepare them for their futures.
Students were given the chance to apply for a number of different voluntary vacancies in the Junior and Pre-Prep school, with positions ranging from: presenting in assemblies, initiating and running play activities, tutoring groups, helping at Forest School and participating in whole school initiatives such as the Maths masterclasses with the Royal Institution.
Head of the Junior school Liz Pugh, highlighted how THe Bridge programme not only develops leadership and interpersonal skills but also fosters self-confidence and empathy. In turn, the Sixth Form girls provide excellent, aspirational role models for the younger pupils.
