From the moment they arrived, excitement was in the air: “My favourite thing was playing all the games,” said Shriya. “The boarding staff were so nice, kind, and patient.” Florence agreed, adding, “The sleepover cookies, the movie, and basically everything was amazing!”
The warmth of the boarding house was clear, not just in the activities but in the atmosphere created by the staff. “They come to say goodnight to you, and they help if you need anything,” shared Sabeen. “The boarding staff were really kind and funny,” added Robyn. With home comforts and a supportive environment, the girls quickly felt at ease. “It’s not scary at all,” said Lilac. “Everyone is lovely, and the stay makes you feel at home.”
As for the rooms? A resounding five-star rating from all! “The bedrooms were so comfy, and the bathrooms were massive and wonderful,” said Shriya. Sabeen agreed, describing them as “sooooo nice!”
Beyond the fun and games, this experience builds confidence and independence, preparing pupils for future residential trips. “It’s a great opportunity to be yourself and be creative,” encouraged Shriya. “Love every bit!”
And if there was one thing they’d change? “Stay for longer!” said Bea — an opinion shared by almost everyone.
