The NSPCC Number Day is a nationwide initiative where schools and nurseries across the UK take part in a mega maths fundraising day.
TH pupils from Year 3 to Year 6 enjoyed a fantastic time taking part in this year’s Number Day, and staff enjoyed seeing everyone ‘Dressing up for Digits.’ There were some very creative ideas and staff extend a huge thank you to parents for their support.
Pupils were very fortunate that Barney, from House of Maths, was able to visit them again and engage the pupils with exciting maths ideas and puzzles including shape, probability and number. Teachers also celebrated the day with different activities in class which reinforced their ethos that maths is for everyone.
