Talbot Heath were delighted to host their very first Paddington Marmalade Festival on Friday 25th April. Grandparents and special guests were invited for a special tea, and then joined the Pre-Prep pupils for a host of activities. These included a cosy book corner for reading, making marmalade sandwiches (of course), origami, writing postcards, globe-trotting with Paddington and an obstacle course. Participants also enjoyed utilising the Hub’s themed interactive floor.
The TH school community were thrilled to welcome Paddington himself who provided lots of photo opportunities! The afternoon ended with a Paddington song sung by the pupils, and each pupil also received a Paddington book, a book mark designed and made by TH Design Department and a jar of school-made marmalade. Special thanks go to Mrs Worsley, Mr Dobree-Carey, Mrs Diment, Mrs Walrond and all the Pre- Prep staff for organising a memorable and pawfect afternoon of fun!
