Congratulations to the sixth form mathematicians who did very well in the recent UKMT (United Kingdom Mathematical Trust) Senior Maths Challenge this year.
Senior success and congratulations go to Sixth Form students who were awarded silver and bronze awards: 7 bronze awards – Kelly, Karis, Ice, Caldia, Dudo, Georgina and Estee
and 4 silver awards – Maya, Vivienne, Cara and Heidi.
Special congratulations to Maya and Vivienne for scoring the highest marks in their respective year groups.
These challenges are run by the UK Mathematics Trust and supported by the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, are national mathematics competitions with papers sat in school containing questions which challenge and enrich the mathematics studied on the curriculum. Well done to all of the participants and thank you to the Maths department for supporting the Maths Challenge and inspiring the girls with their teaching.
