Sixth form students enjoyed a successful art trip to London this week. The visit included very beneficial lectures held by Education in Action, where they were lucky enough to meet Stuart Pearson Wright – an artist best known for his irreverent and detailed figurative portraits and a former winner of the BP Portrait Award in 2001.
This was followed by a visit to Tate Britain and a spot of sight-seeing. Grateful thanks to Vikki Coates and Tammy Webb for organising and accompanying the visit.
