This week, it was the 6th form students’ turn to take to the ice! Everyone enjoyed the opportunity to don their skates and had a fantastic time on the ice-rink in Bournemouth Gardens, with lots of laughter and smiles. There were some impressive skills seen – lots of jumps and spins, along with some promising dancing-on-ice performances – PE staff will await the phone call from the show!
It was the perfect way to end the term’s PE lessons. The 6th form ice-skating follows a visit to the rink with the Upper 5 last week, and continues a series of atypical sport sessions offered to the girls at TH. So far this year, students from other year groups have had the opportunity to participate in fencing, skate-boarding and lacrosse.
Thanks go to the PE department for organising another exciting sporting activity.
