On Your Marks, Get Set… BAKE!
Everybody loves the Great British Bake Off, and TH pupils are no exception; Upper 3 held their own baking battle during their food lessons this term.
The girls were set the challenge to cook and decorate a set of fabulous cupcakes and Mrs Moran played the role of gentle judge, Prue Leith. Six heats produced a batch of ‘Top Bakers’, who fought it out in a close-knit [or close-baked] final…
It went down-to-the-wire, but huge congratulations go to Florence C, this year’s champion, for rustling up the lightest of sponges, with some fabulous frog modelling to top them off. Emily L was the closest of runners up, for her delicious bumble bee topped lemon cakes, complete with strawberry butterflies, and Elise W was awarded third place.
