TH Hosts Sleep Easy for the YMCA

On Friday, 14th March, Talbot Heath Sixth Form students and several staff, took part in the ‘Sleep Easy’ event in support of YMCA Bournemouth. Braving the chilly night, they built makeshift shelters from cardboard boxes and experienced what it’s like to sleep rough. Despite the temperature dropping significantly, spirits remained high as students embraced the challenge with optimism, understanding the vital impact of their fundraising efforts.

The Sixth Form raised an incredible £3,466—an astounding total that will go a long way in supporting those without a safe place to call home in Bournemouth. All funds will be donated to the YMCA, helping individuals in need work towards independent living and a secure, positive future.

A huge congratulations to all the Sixth Formers and staff involved for their dedication and compassion! Thanks go to Ms Basra for organising and supporting the event.
