Upper 3 spent a marvellously muddy day at Avon Tyrrell last week, building collaboration skills and learning to work effectively as a team. From firing handmade catapults and unpicking problem solving challenges, to building and racing rafts on the lake – everyone had their skills put to the test!
A bit of freetime in the middle of the day was the perfect opportunity for the girls to explore the grounds and park, and play on the giant chess set, building new friendships and connections.
The first half term of Upper 3 can be academically and organisationally challenging as girls get to grips with new routines both at home and at school. As such, prioritising a day off site to reconnect with one another and have fun was just what they needed! Thanks go to Head of Key Stage 3 for organising the event.
