Upper 4 enjoyed a thrilling visit to Paulton’s Park this week, as part of their Technology in Action topic in Computing lessons. They started the day with a talk from Paulton’s management about how they use various technology systems to run the park. Students learnt about how ride safety checks are digitised, apps that are used by the staff, digital food hygiene systems and EPOS till systems to name a few.
They then enjoyed some practical research time investigating digital assets around the park and of course testing out the rides! Everyone had a fantastic day and brought lots of useful findings back to the classroom. Thank you to the staff who accompanied the girls on this trip; special thanks to Mrs Eels for organising.
